Apple Vision Pro Elevates Augmented and Virtual Reality Experience

Apple Vision Pro
This is a long-awaited moment for technology enthusiasts: Apple Vision Pro is now available for sale. Priced at $3,499, the device promises a revolution in augmented and virtual reality experiences.
At the heart of this innovation is Apple's commitment to creating what they call "the first spatial computer." Equipped with chips that process visual and auditory information in real-time, Apple Vision Pro offers exceptional performance, eight times faster than a blink of an eye.
The intuitive interface, inspired by iOS, allows users to control screens using natural eye movements, hand gestures, and even through Siri. The fusion of augmented and virtual reality creates an immersive experience in movies, games, and meetings, while 3D cameras provide unique depth when exploring content in the "Photos" app.
For gaming enthusiasts, Apple Arcade support promises borderless entertainment. Simply connect a controller, and images will be projected directly onto the Apple Vision Pro, allowing gaming from anywhere.
Another highlight is the device's adaptability to users' needs. Partnership with Zeiss enables those who wear prescription glasses to attach magnetic lenses to the device, ensuring a comfortable experience.
With over 1 million available apps, including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, TikTok, and others, Apple Vision Pro opens doors to unexplored possibilities at the intersection of technology and human experience.

Zuckerberg Optimistic about AI as Meta Stocks Ride the AI Wave

Mark Zuckerberg
Has anyone had a better year than Mark Zuckerberg in the last 12 months? After Meta's stock price plummeted to nearly $90 at the end of 2022, the company announced yesterday impressive quarterly results that lifted its shares to a record $451 after-market close, raising its market capitalization from $148 billion to $1.16 trillion.
But Zuckerberg seems to be just getting started. Meta's CEO struck an optimistic tone outlining his vision for the future of Meta's AI products and services.
For months, tech giants have been vying for access to Nvidia's limited chip supply needed to power their AI models. However, the chips are expensive, costing up to $30,000 each. And Meta is playing to win.
In addition to the 600,000 high-quality chips (or equivalents) Meta plans to secure by year-end, the company is also reportedly on track to deploy its in-house chip called Artemis, which will reduce Meta's reliance on Nvidia and potentially save billions in chip and energy costs for the company.
The world's largest social media company is also aggressively investing in new data centers with advanced designs optimized for AI computing, presumably built to house its new AI chips.
From its open-source AI models to AI-powered sunglasses and celebrity chatbots, the company behind Facebook and Instagram has positioned itself as an AI powerhouse. As a sign of growing confidence, Meta also announced its first stock dividend of $0.50 per share and additional share buybacks worth $50 billion, potentially indicating that the company expects its stock price to grow even further in the coming months.

Here's what's new:
Bard will now be able to generate images with simple text prompts.
It is also running on Gemini Pro, Google's intermediate model, which should significantly improve the quality of its responses.
Google Maps is also being enhanced with conversational search, which will provide users with AI-powered results to discover new locations.
